IMLS Funding Opportunities and Tips for Successful Applications

Program staff will provide an overview of IMLS grant programs for museums in the United States as well as tips on how to write a strong proposal. Then staff will host a dialogue with recent panel reviewers, who will share their experiences as IMLS reviewers and offer their perspective on what it takes to write competitive proposals. Session attendees will be encouraged to participate in the discussion and will learn how to choose the best grant program for their project and hear about characteristics of successful application.
